O Grupo Petrópolis foi um dos grandes vencedores da última edição do Brasil Beer Cup, realizado em Florianópolis, de 21 a 24 de novembro. Ao todo, nove cervejas do Grupo receberam premiação, sendo três ouros, quatro pratas e dois bronzes, além de melhor cerveja do ano para a Berliner Weisse na categoria The Best of Show Experimental.
Organizado pelo Science of Beer Institute, o concurso deste ano contou com a participação de 270 cervejarias da América Latina, que apresentaram 1.216 cervejas de 157 estilos diferentes. Entre os jurados, representaram o Grupo Petrópolis o diretor Industrial Diego Gomes, o mestre cervejeiro Rüdiger Görtz e a especialista em análise sensorial Ana Paula Nicolino.
